DANISH ARTS FOUNDATION 2020 ARCHITECTURE PRIZE

The Danish Arts Foundation has awarded David Garcia the 2020 Architecture Prize for Kalø Slotsruin. “The project stands out even more clearly following the intervention of recent years. For this reason, the character of the architectural installation—an internal staircase with viewing platforms—and its sensitivity in relation to this ruin, which is at once robust and fragile, constitute a small masterpiece.”
